Alooso and co-friends will be thanking their stars and mostly marijuana, for saving them from such a mess.
Ololo never took any lesson from what happened, but rather became a slave to the smoking of “wee”.
He used it in everything he did. This made him stubborn among the students but not in the presence of his tutors.
He started participating in the sporting activities of the school. The masters saw him as a real runner. No wonder. Somebody who chased rats and grasscutters couldn’t do anything better than running. He became the best hundred meter race runner and represented McAllister’s lodge in any of the sporting competitions.
He started this career in form Two when Alooso was about to write his final year papers. He won the seat of the sports captain, during their annual elections to get prefects to replace the outgoing leaders.
Ololo gained a lot of fame among the students and was still not serious with his studies. He was always absent from the classroom since he had his own cubicle. He went to the class-room only to show to others that he was in the school and not out of campus.
McAllister’s Lodge was in such a way that, the class captains were supposed to put down the names of students who were absent for every subject. The lists were compiled and given to the senior House Master who usually meted out to the culprits their rewards. Ololo went to class-room to avoid his name going into the red book.
Ololo was now an independent thinker from Alooso since he was apparently serious about his studies. Ololo directed every activity of the school among the bad students, who were virtually seniors.
As a norm and routine in every institution, hawkers sell food and other things. There was a particular girl who sold “Koose” and always preferred hawking around the classroom.
Ololo’s classroom was averagely higher than the ground level. So whenever there was no master in the classroom. They will call the girl to come so that they purchase some of the ‘Koose”.
