If these documents are without more but true and anything to go by, then it does seem that the real claim of John Drammani Mahama is not that he was cheated or robbed of victory as they have imbibed in their supporters but Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo didn’t obtain the requisite number of votes which is 50%+1 to be declared President Elect by Madam Jean Mensah, the Electoral Commissioner.
Any sane mind would have thought that the NDC was in the court yesterday to ask the apex court of the land to direct the Electoral Commission to as a matter of interest declare John Drammani Mahama as the winner of the just ended elections, that’s not the case but rather, the NDC and John Drammani Mahama is asking that there should be a run-off of the elections. Funny, isn’t it?
How a ‘stolen verdict’ could, all of sudden, within two weeks metamorphosed into A Run-Off still beats my imagination.
And to top it all, the NDC and John Drammani Mahama wants the re-run to be between them and the Electoral Commission, I have never seen better comedians than John Drammani Mahama and his cohorts.
