The parliament of Ghana on several occasions has resorted to the use of manual counting processes to perform head counting and voting. The recent one is when the house had to vote on “whether to accept the report of the appointment committee or not”?
There are several electronic tally counters that can be installed and used for vote counts or headcount of parliamentarians.
It is not out of place to go digital in this age of artificial intelligence. I do not want to believe that it is against our laws to use some of these platforms which are even used for games.
