Leadership in Medical Laboratories cannot be determined based on what happens in Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), Korle Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH), Cape Coast Teaching Hospital (CCTH), Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH), and Ho Teaching Hospital (HTH).
Apart from the law, and prior to 2013 when the law came into force till now, more than 99% of Medical Laboratories have been managed by medical laboratory scientists in Ghana over the years.
I have over the years paid my renewal fees for my license as the law stipulates to avoid contravening any Offence in ACT 857, 2013.
That is why I am trusting parliament to protect the laws they have made else we should forget about CRIME in our STATUTES.
Every professional MUST be allowed to grow in their chosen profession.
This must be upheld.
Any form of imperialism will be rejected as the constitution allows.
Aside from all the academic qualifications, the under-listed professionals can manage themselves.

As simple as ABC, in the words of Dr Kwame Nkrumah, rephrased “The Medical Laboratory Scientist is capable of managing his own affairs”.
They have stated continuously what is needed to make health service provision in Ghana great, yet the powers that be will not allow. If this NHLP was implemented when they first strike, Ghana would have been a consulting country in Africa with regards to COVID-19 and many others.
I trust Parliament who enacts the laws will not advocate an illegality.
