Beautiful Angelina was partly deformed physically when she recovered from her accident. Life continued like that for Ololo. He went through the evil deeds without being caught, so he thought he was clever. Maybe, life has got its own wages for Ololo at the right time.
Ololo popularly known as Black Ghost, in short B.G in his upper primary school was still the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Adu. In the village, he was the only boy who got the chance to attend an international school, since his parents own cocoa farms.
Ololo virtually forgotten of life’s vicissitudes, made up his mind not to persevere in his studies, “after all who will enjoy all the wealth as I remain the only child of my parents”, he always said to himself.
God who knows everything about the future helped Mr. Adu’s family with another child when Ololo was in class five.
Ololo, who had built up the notion that he is a rich man’s son, never took his studies seriously. He was always not counted among the good and academically sound pupils.
He was normally found, if not joking, then disturbing others who are serious about their books.
As the adage goes “empty barrel makes the most noise”, Ololo took his “noise” in the form of fighting. Ololo fought with everybody in his school including his tutors. At the end of one of the terms in class six, he faked his terminal report to be among the best as he usually did.
At the glance of it by the parents, his father promised B.G that he will be sent to the big city to continue his education, should he pass in his middle school exams.
Most of the masters in B.G’s upper primary school came from the “Heavens” (Big City) since that was the place people liked education. Most of it all they have the ideal institutions to train those people. Posting them there without white colour incentives, was like “flogging a dead horse”.
