I asked of what mob justice is and could not get many responses.
SELFISH nature portrayed: In movies, when the villain has done all the bad things and die without feeling any pain, your feeling is always that, such a death was not painful. That, the person could have suffered in a more torturous manner.
I watched a video of Reverend Owusu Bempah’s church attack by a youth who in the video claimed a prophesy given by the Reverend mentioned the death of the chief Imam.
Unfortunately, I did not see anyone publicly attacking that act of illegality by the youth or even any act initiated by the law enforcers to arrest the culprit vividly shown in the video.
Was it because they acted the way many people wished happen to the Reverend because of the “unguarded” prophecies?
Is that not mob justice?
I am not by this message supporting what Owusu Bempah prophesied. I wish he had communicated with wisdom even if he actually received anything from God who can reveal.
But not withstanding, we must let the laws work at all times but not when it suits us we advocate to relax it.
Mob justice even by instincts must be condemned outright.
