Congratulations to Dr. Chris D. Nyan and his team of biomedical professionals for the breakthrough in developing a multiplex test kit for about seven (7) infectious pathogens including SARS COV-2 (COVID-19) in Africa. The good news is that the technological breakthrough led by the one-time aspiring lawyer and international politician but now a biomedical scientist detects pathogens in a maximum of 45 mins compared to routine methods which do in about 2 hours singly.  

This never comes as a surprise. Sharing a platform with such an astute scientist and a connoisseur in his field of practice during the webinar series organized by the CelebrateLab West Africa in collaboration with the Ghana Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists (GAMLS), Africa Bio Inc and the Ghana Health Service makes me know this breakthrough is even long overdue.

This technology must be given all the support it needs to expand to benefit humanity.
