As we passed by the street and saw the Ghana High Commission building in Lusaka, it crossed our mind to pay a visit to the team on duty. It was going to be a try and error since we did not have an appointment and prior notice to visit.
The first point of call was the security who by all looks was a Zambian. His reception was superb. When we explained our mission was to visit the Commission, he gladly made us to log in our details and ushered us to the reception.
One thing led to another and to our surprise, Her Excellency Ms Khadija Iddrisu, the High Commissioner to Zambia and Malawi, left her duty and attended to us.
She made us know that they are there for Ghanaians and all should not hesitate to get to the high commission in Countries they visit.
We felt at home by her reception. She is truly a diplomat and it is welcoming to know how she has infused all her workers with the Ghanaian hallmark of being hospitable.
