Ololo proved the first physical stubbornness when second assistant compound overseers came round with some kind of thin brooms and mandated them to buy each at two hundred cedis. He replied by saying \u201ceven air which is considered as the lightest substance can\u2019t be swept by your broom, so I don\u2019t think anybody would buy\u201d. This made the senior called Reaction annoyed to the extent that he was forced to demarcate a piece of land for him to weed that very night. This was called \u201cdisco weeding\u201d. He became the first student to be punished among the first year students.<\/p>\n
He never had the chance to pass straight away from primary six to secondary school compared to the other students. So he had to follow the normal routine. He was older than anybody in form one. This made him masterminded most of the activities and general punishments.<\/p>\n
There was one particular incident that happened. All the \u201cgreenhorns were gathered in a big hall making noise. Sticky; who was a senior, entered and asked a rhetorical question as \u201care you marketing\u2019? Ololo who had answers to every question said in an insulting way that they weren\u2019t but selling. This also annoyed sticky and he punished the entire first-year students for two consecutive weeks. They were to weed during the day and wash the school bowls in the evening after supper.<\/p>\n
Ololo as he remained never changed from his character having even been enrolled into secondary school. He got problems for himself and mostly for the first years during church period, in the dining hall, in the dormitory during siesta and blackout. He was always used as a scapegoat to others. Ololo was never left out, when it came to students who didn\u2019t do their house work every morning. He had a bone to crack with the compound overseers.
