On the Facebook wall of the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo, is the poster indicating a presentation of the 15th Address to the nation on the measures taken by the government in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n

With what is going on, may are the expectation of the populace to give the public a normal life even though we are not in normal times.<\/p>\n

It will not be surprising that the President may approve for schools to resume after a long break since the pandemic broke in Ghana. For some individuals, it may be time to start thinking of the school fees of the wards. What has been spent over the past months in addition to the free tax may have to be consciously put aside this time.<\/p>\n

As for the borders, it will be a surprise to get them opened if political considerations are made.<\/p>\n

Professionally, it is time to expand testing for COVID-19 across the country for it to be available just like how one can do malaria tests in most of our facilities. Keeping the current testing approach and opening up the system may not be appropriate.<\/p>\n

It is the hope that the call of many Ghanaians is appropriate but not one out of complacency about the virus and the pandemic.<\/p>\n
