These doctrines existed in harmony. Both of us were royals from our own small corners, morality and virtue was instilled in us in its strict form.

My good Self was quite liberal whilst he believes, “spare the rod, and spoil the child”. There wasn’t any excuse for not reading our handouts in time, I was always at the punishment end. I am told I was stubborn and talkative but that wasn’t the case, I only needed plentiful time with my wife on phone and he failed to understand me. How could this be amount to stubbornness?

What makes things very difficult for me was his ability to read my books whilst I was struggling to read my own books. Amazingly, he was down to earth and always supportive to help a struggling brother.

Through him as my bench mark, I learnt a lot, especially Mathematics and Statistics. When ever I was out of idea or felt downcast for poor performance he shared the same, so I learnt compassion through him, he had a greater respect for me even though we had our misunderstandings or differences as usual of comrades but I realized he was down to earth. My hand writing was and still HORRIBLE but he had the best of hand writings one can imagine. This alone was a standard in punishing or beating me.

Mawutor as I affectionately called him is an amazing dude, a supportive friend, a fighting brother that I hold in high esteem. I can’t account my profile in College Of Health And Well-Being, Kintampo without his name. He had played an instrumental role in my life as a brother and a friend. I LOVE HIM and will always do.

On this day, I wish him the most happiest birthday ever and may Allah be well pleased with him.

LIVE LONG, FEW MINUTES !!

The two principles that governed our life was culture and ‘savoir-faire’.
