The\u00a0<b>h index<\/b> corrects for the disproportionate weight of highly cited publications or publications that have not yet been cited.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Also, the\u00a0<b>i10<\/b>&#8211;<b>Index<\/b> = the number of publications with at least 10 citations. This very simple measure is only used by Google Scholar and is another way to help gauge the productivity of a scholar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the analysis by of the first 50 Ghanaians who were featured in the list by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.graphic.com.gh\/news\/general-news\/world-university-rankings.html\">Graphic Online<\/a>, the University of Ghana (UG) and the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) chalked the highest chunck.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Some of the names featured in the list are captured on the website of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adscientificindex.com\/\">AD Scientific Index<\/a> and names from Ghana include;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Prof. Seth Owusu-Agyei, Prof. Gordon Awandare, and many others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The ranking of lecturers and their respective Universities is out and the list brings inspiration to those the lecturers mentor.
