I personally was delighted to hear about the good news of your promotion. To say that I was greatly pleased or overly elated about the good news when it was promulgated would be an understatement.<\/p>\n
This comes as no surprise, of course to any of us who are properly acquainted with you and your work, you wholeheartedly led your team to start the very first and the most enviable Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science programme. You singlehandedly breathed new life into to a course which many, including the naysayers thought was a near impossible.<\/p>\n
Professor Nafiu Amidu is currently the Dean of the School of Allied Health at the University of Development Studies, Tamale, Ghana and President of the West Africa Postgraduate College of Medical Laboratory Science (WAPCMLS), Abuja, Nigeria, a position he is the ‘numero uno’ to have been elected to occupy.<\/p>\n
There is no doubt in my mind that when a scientist chalked such a feat at this young age then there is absolutely more room for improvement hence the sky is going to be your starting point and this alone gladdens my heart and gives me hope, ignites confidence and serves as IMMUNE BOOSTERS to the normal and genuine younger scientists across the length and breadth of this country and beyond.<\/p>\n
I have always known you were a gem, and gem rises to the top in no time. You have really done a great job and deserve the promotion.<\/p>\n
