<\/p>\nA Nigerian Lawyer, today appear in court dressed partially in a robe and in traditional attire.<\/p>\n
The lawyer Malcolm Omirhobo on Thursday June 23, 2022, oddly appeared at the Supreme court, Abuja dressed in lawyer robe complemented with other traditional apparel ( as a native doctor)<\/p>\n
According to the Channels Television, a media station in Nigerian; lawyer Omirhobos’ strange apparel includes two feathers tucked in the peruke, a gourd wrapped with cowries hanged on his neck, a cowrie anklet and a red robe tied on his waist”.<\/p>\n

In an interview with a journalist outside the court,\u00a0 Omirhobo says, ” I am a traditionalist and I have been missed all Ong until the Supreme Court gave a ruling that people can appear in their traditional attires”.<\/p>\n
The Apex Court recently, ruled in favour of students being able to appear in their religious attires of worship in their school and public school.<\/p>\n
Lawyer Malcolm,\u00a0 decided to follow suit and appear to court in a traditional attire. ” I said they have done well granting more our rights under section(38) of the constitution, that gives every Nigerian the freedom of thought and conscience and religion.<\/p>\n
“…..So I now said, I need to be appearing in my religious attire of worship, because it’s good”. I’m very happy about the decision”, he said in the interview.<\/p>\n
