<\/p>\nI would like to commend the Ghana Police service for the great work they have done to ensure the stretch of road through Abofour township on the Techiman to Kumasi highway was virtually traffic free on 19th October 2017 and their market day.
\nI have lamented several times of why our law enforcers allow some people to initiate some time-wasting activities that largely affect the whole nation. It was a hell to travel through Abofour on Thursdays when the marketers take all the road for travelers causing vehicular traffic that increased the travel time substantially. I have ever spent almost two hours to go across the less than 500meters stretch.
\nWhen I got into the car that morning, I was complaining of a possible delay when we get to Abofour. The driver mentioned that the security personnel these days are available to sanitize the way goods are displayed for buying and selling. This he said has reduced the congestion on the road and the vehicular traffic.<\/p>\n

We got to Abofour at 09:45am and exited the town at 10:00am. It was clear that with the enforcement by the police personnel, an order was established and motorists have the lanes of the roads to themselves as expected.
\nI wish such commitments could be channeled across our country to ensure order prevails at all times. For me, Abofour is an example and if we all do our part, Ghana will work again with our laws.<\/p>\n
