The Ministry of  Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of Ghana, has issued a travel ban on three countries due to new variant of the Coronavirus “Omicron”.

Passengers and travellers from and intending to travel to Malta, South Korea and Isreal are ban from traveling to Ghana or to the three countries, with effect from Monday, December 20, 2021.

The ban is to last for 14 days.

However, obtaining an approval based on humanitarian reasons or for official travels will be granted, the statement from the Ministry of  Foreign Affairs stated.
