As part of the agenda of the government of Ghana, the Church of Pentecost purposed to plant about one million trees in Ghana in May and June 2021. The Environmental Care Campaign forms part of the five-year strategic vision of the Church (Vision 2023) dubbed “Possessing the Nations.”
Members were encouraged to take as many of the free seedlings to plant and care for them in true sense of discipleship. I took some cash crop and ornamental trees.
Personally, about 50% of those I planted have grown beautifully in just one year. Thanks to the government and the COP.
It is important we all play apart to stop deforestation too.
We have to do it and it starts with me and you. Get involved.
