Apart from the phones, the cost of hiring the services of the ambulances is never affordable to the ordinary Ghanaian. One would have to settle upfront the cost of service before the vehicle moves to transport the victim. I have seen many allowed to die because they could not afford the charges of the ambulance service unit.
It is important we make consented efforts to fix our emergency systems in the country to the benefit of us all. What has it got to do that? We should not allow the greed of certain individuals to overshadow the poor Ghanaian who could not afford private or privileged services.
