The boys started the fire by lighting the thread in the petrol which began the connection with a match. They went back to the dormitory and started shouting; fire, fire, which had started afar and this alarmed the students and the watchman about what was happening. They were fast to disconnect most of the blazing fire with the exception of the one that was set to the entertainment hall. The place was burnt to ashes and not even a single gadget remained. What a wicked act, a student outburst. Ololo was able to stand among them and express his sympathy for the school for the loss incurred. “What a hard-hearted person”?

A secret is never known to anyone. But can be found in only one person’s mind, the bearer. The masters this time did a yeo-mans job in their investigation and gathered a lot to know that a year one student was among those who set the school on fire.

For him being afraid to be expelled from the school if he doesn’t speak the truth, mentioned the names, which brought Ololo and others into a calamity.

Ololo and the guys were liberated from the school rules a week before the school went on vacation. They were registered and couldn’t be deprived of writing their exams. The cost incurred was shared among them to pay. He went and never disclosed any statement to his parents. He only narrated his story in such a way that, he could get the money to pay his share of the cost when going back.

He was patrolling the vicinity when he met someone in the dark who called to his name. The fellow recognized Ololo but he didn’t. He got closer and got to know that it was Addo.

He saw Kofi Addo, his lower-class friend, whenever he went on vacation, always with others preaching the gospel to people from house to house. He talked to Ololo to refrain from all the acts they initiated themselves into. “It’s bad and anybody who does that belongs to the devil”. Addo was in a hurry and only wanted to invite him to a program.
