EXPOSITION
Glory to God for how far He has brought us. His grace and mercies have indeed seen us through all thick and thin. To Him be all praise, glory and honour. Now let’s take a recap of the lessons for the week.
This week we have been looking at the subject “It is never too late”, using John 11 as our reference. We realized that, we might have prayed vehemently concerning a particular thing for a very long time, and there may be no signs to the expected answers. This has led the faith of many to wax cold.
We saw from the Lazarus story that, his illness and death was for the glory of God to be revealed. Likewise, our situation may lead to the glory of God.
We also realized that, though Jesus delayed in going to see his friend, Lazarus, he was never too late. He was there on time, even though it was after four days of his death. Jesus may seem late but He acts on time.
We also learnt that, delayance is not denial. Though our expectations are delayed we shall never be denied of it. All we need to do is to keep trusting and remaining focus on God.
