Sad to read the death of the first President of the 4th Republic, former President Jerry John Rawlings as announced by the President of Ghana on 12th November 2020.
In his statement to the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, expressed his condolence and that of the government to the former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawling, and the family.
A seven-day national mourning was declared starting 13th November 2020 as indicated in the statement from the government.
May his soul rest in perfect peace.
