The National Science and Maths Quiz (NMSQ) contest has gained a lot of popularity in recent times in Ghana. Kudos to the 2020 NSMQ Winning Senior High School – PRESEC, LEGON.
When you look at the euphoria and the anxiety among old students of the respective schools, you may not understand if you have never been on that stage or ever had your school contesting. There are some people who naturally will have a soft spot for schools that will be in the competition because not every supporter of schools might be old students of the schools they support.
As to why I do not get the euphoria some people experience during the competition is something I am still looking for answers. In simple terms, it may be that “I am a crab living in a city plagued with a headache’. Someone might retort “… does I care?”
