The entire Medical Laboratory Science fraternity in Ghana and West Africa wish to congratulate Professor Amidu Nafui

on his promotion to the rank of a Full Professor in Chemical Pathology.

This does not come as a surprise.

He is currently the Dean of the School of Allied Health at the University for Development Studies, Tamale, Ghana. As a trailblazer, he led the team to start the most enviable Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science programme. He did thread the course many have been afraid to even crawl.

He is the President of the West Africa Postgraduate College of Medical Laboratory Science (WAPCMLS), Abuja, Nigeria, a position he is the first to have been elected.

This promotion at this young age does not come as a surprise but rather an encouragement to the scientific community that it is doable when you set your mind to it.
