“David and Jonathan had a covenantal relationship that included aĺl their heirs. After Jonathan’s death, David who became king was still looking for someone to show kindness to and to bless because of Jonathan. Mephebosheth became this beneficiary.

If Jesus is from the root of David and sits on the throne of David as King of all the earth, then we can liken the covenantal relationship between David and Jonathan to a relationship between a person and Christ.

We who have become partakers of the new Covenant are heirs. We, our children, and people around us receive grace and mercies because of the covenantal relationship between us and Christ until they come into a personal relationship with him. Thus we serve as Intercessors.

  1. This design is steller! You certainly know how to keep a reader entertained. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Excellent job. I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!
