1. God Promises to BLESS the whole world through Abraham. To be BLESSED is to receive forgiveness of sins and to receive the Holy Spirit so that instead of our strength, God becomes our strength; God’s Strength instead of our Strength is what is called GRACE which is the GOSPEL

2. Between the Promise and the Fulfillment (the Coming of Christ), the Law was given through Moses; Grace came through Jesus Christ (Jn 1:14-18)

3. The Purpose of the Law (Rom 3:20; 4:15; Gal 3:19)

4. The Nature and Types of the Law (Exodus 20 to end of Deuteronomy); breaking one means breaking all (Jas 2:10)

5. The Law was a Guardian or Schoolmaster (Gal 3:23-25)

6. The Law Fails so Jesus takes over (Rom 8:1-5); Christ is Faith; Christ is the Spirit (2 Cor 3:17-18)

– The Law Fails to take away sins so Jesus takes away sin (Heb 10:4; Jn 1:29)

– The Law fails to Crucify the Sin Nature so Christ does it by His Spirit (Gal 2:19-21)

7. Christ is therefore the END of the Law (Rom 10:4)

8. No one is justified by the Law but by FAITH IN CHRIST (Rom 3:23-24)

9. We receive all things by FAITH – Hearing the Voice of the Spirit and moving by that voice (the JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH) – Rom 1:17
