Mr. Kwame Antwi, a native of Nchiraa handed over the keys to the building to Apostle Mark Obeng Ando, the Coordinator for the Bono, Bono East and Ahafo Regional Coordinating Council (RCC), during the dedication service which took place on Friday, 30th October 2020 at Nchiraa.

According to Mr. Kwame Antwi, the Lord laid it on his heart to construct such a building for the assembly considering the state of their former place of worship. Though it seemed difficult and hard for him, he was full of praises to God for granting him the resources and strength to be able to put up this building in the space of one year. The building comprises a 700 seater auditorium fitted with foldable chairs, TV screens, and a full set of electronic and musical equipment. Also provided in the facility are the Children’s auditorium, offices, washrooms and storerooms.

In a sermon on the topic, “Taking a step of faith”, Apostle Ando challenged all to demonstrate strong faith in God no matter the obstacles, impossibilities, and challenges that come their way. Using Hebrews 11:1-6, he mentioned that, our walk with God is based on faith, for without faith it is impossible to please God.

“Christianity loses its importance when it is not based on faith in God, for faith is the currency for purchasing things from heaven and also a legal document to claim title deeds from God”, he emphasized. Explaining the different types of faith, he mentioned that, there is natural faith given to all no matter one’s religious background, Intellectual faith that is gained from the acquisition of knowledge, and the gift of faith that is solely given by God.

On behalf of the Executive Council, Apostle Ando expressed great appreciation to the couple for their strong faith to put up this beautiful edifice for the church in Nchiraa, and that their names will surely be recorded amongst the heroes of faith. He concluded by admonishing all to take a bold step of faith and be motivated by this kind gesture to do more for the Lord and shall surely see the glory of God.

The Area Head, Apostle Gideon Obeng-Darko Debrah, and the District Pastor of Subinso, Ps Fredrick Doh-Bodzra, together with their Executive and Estate Committees were commended for their selflessness, commitment and the supervisory role played in making this a reality.

The chief of Nchiraa, Nana Tabiri Yaw III was full of appreciation to the couple and the church for the vision to build this beautiful auditorium in the community. He added that this will go a long way to draw many to the saving power of Jesus Christ.

In attendance also were, Apostles Samuel Berko, William Edzorhoho, Pastors Daniel Frimpong Manso, Ohene Asah Otu, Pastors and wives in the Kintampo Area, and other Areas, as well as some traditional leaders from the Nchiraa Traditional Council.
